The unemployment rate in Ukraine in October-December 2019 increased to 8.7% from 7.3 percent in the third quarter of 2019, which in absolute figures is 1.6 million people.
This was reported by the State statistics service.
According to the report, the number of employed people 15-70 years in the fourth quarter of 2019 amounted to 16.5 million people.

In the state statistics service noted that the data are presented excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and temporarily occupied part of the territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
