Inflation in the consumer market in February 2019 compared to January 2019 0.5%.

According to the data of the statistical Agency, since the beginning of the year, consumer prices rose 1.5%.
As noted, in the consumer market in February, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages rose 0.9%.
“Most of all (by 6.6% and 3.6%) grew vegetables and fruit. 1.9-0.6% of the increased prices for grain products, fish and fish products, bread, sugar, pasta, milk and dairy products, butter. At the same time, 3.6% and 0.8% for cheaper eggs, meat and meat products, rice,” – said in the message.
Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco rose 1.2%, including tobacco products – by 1.7%, alcoholic beverages – by 0.8%. Clothing and footwear fell by 3.5%, in particular, footwear – 3.7% – 3.3%.
“The growth of prices (tariffs) for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 0.5% was due to increase of tariffs for water supply by 1.8%, hot water, heating – 1.5%, the maintenance of houses and house adjoining territories – by 1.2%, Sewerage – by 1.1%,” according to the state statistics service.
According to the report, the decline in prices for transport in General by 0.1%, mainly caused by a reduction in the cost of fuel and oil by 2% and cars by 0.6%.
However, 5.1% and 2% increased travel in rail and road passenger transport.
