Venediktov: the investigation and the court was not interested in the last hours before the murder Nemtsov

Венедиктов: Следствие и суд не интересовались последними часами перед убийством Немцова

When investigating the murder in February 2015 Russian opposition leader Boris Nemtsov neither the investigation nor the court was not interested in what is happening two hours before the crime. On March 1, the radio station “Echo of Moscow”, said its chief editor Alexei Venediktov.

“In the history of the murder of Boris is the kind of detail that is very important: none of the journalist of “echo of Moscow” has not been questioned neither by investigation nor by the court, except for me….Boris to death out of here. And the normal question would be the investigator or judge: “what was said? What was said in my office?”….No one thought it necessary or possible to talk with Ksenia Larina, Vitaly Dymarskiy” he said.

According to the editor of “echo of Moscow”, “the investigation was not interested in the last hours before the murder, the court was not interested in the last hours before the murder.”

“Moreover, when I was in court – I came to court, in fact, of your own free will, the jury were taken away, the judge listened to my testimony about what I said Boris and as I offered him protection. And I was not allowed to speak in front of a jury,” – said Venediktov.

To the question “Why?” he replied: “the judge’s Decision”.

“I’m not some words retold, I told you what I know. It’s not with someone else’s words. And I drew the conclusion then that the investigation and the court… I would say, unique work, that is a consequence of this and a judicial investigation is not interested in finding out all the facts. Not interesting” – said Venediktov.

27 Feb 2015 Nemtsov was shot dead near the Kremlin.

According to the decision of the court of 13 July 2017, the killer Nemtsov Zaur Dadaev received 20 years of a colony of a strict mode. Partners Dadaeva, brothers Anzor and Shadid Gubareva received 19 and 16 years in prison, respectively, Temirlan Eskerkhanov 14 years, Khamzat – 11 years old.

The organizer of the crime, I believe the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, was the driver of the commander Dadaev in the Chechen battalion “Sever” Ruslan muhudinov. The family’s lawyer Nemtsov Vadim Prokhorov considers that muhudinov could not be a customer of the crime.
