Venislavskiy said that NACP will need to verify this information
The President’s representative in constitutional court Fedor Venislavskiy sees a conflict of interest with the judges of the constitutional court, when they make decisions which indirectly affect their legal status. Check it out.
He stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the National Agency on corruption prevention (NACP) should check for a possible conflict of interests suddy.
“Another issue is that the mechanism of external control over the judges of the CCU itself is interesting, so to speak, and is unlikely to apply”, – he said.
Noteworthy, the draft law on the reform of the constitutional court of Ukraine was made by the head of Committee of social policy Galina Tretyakova, but it has not begun to consider.
Earlier, the President proposed to the Parliament to change its judicial reform, which the constitutional court found nonconforming to the Constitution.
RBC-Ukraine wrote that the CCU declared unconstitutional the competition in the new reformed Supreme court.
