YouTube-channel publication IGN had the 5 minute gameplay video of The Ascent Thriller with elements of RPG and top-down from Studio Neon Giant and publisher Curve Digital. Fresh video fully dedicated to high-level battles in small open spaces. The article also shows the individual skills of the main character, the variety of enemies and some locations in the style of cyberpunk.
Judging by the roller, the battle in the later stages of The Ascent was marked with high dynamics. The protagonist has to fight with dozens of enemies, which differ in size, skills and weapons. One wielded a large hammer, the second throwing a grenade, and the third launches laser missiles. The game includes dismemberment, so that when killing enemies limbs fly in all directions, and from the bodies of the fountains of blood.
The main character in battles also uses a variety of guns: heavy machine gun, a rifle with a laser sight and a gun. And for the more effective destruction of enemies and he activates all sorts of skills. One of them allows you to raise standing nearby enemies into the air and immobilize them for a few seconds. Throw mines, creating an explosion in a certain radius, most likely, also included in the number of attacking skills. When comes the turn to defend, the protagonist commits jerks, hiding behind objects and around itself activates energy shield.
In the latest clip showed the audience several locations in kiberpank surroundings, between which the hero moves on the elevators. It is worth noting the vertical structure of levels and differences in visual performance: somewhere dominated by neon signs and a cool metal design, and the huge bundles of wires and rusty items. At the end of the video shows that not all levels will have to fight. There are peaceful areas with NPCs where, apparently, you can take jobs and participate in different activities.
The Ascent will be released on PC (Steam), Xbox One and Xbox Seriex X in 2020, the exact date is not reported.
