Volkswagen Arteon R-Line Edition, which will be released edition of just 1 million copies, is equipped with a set of unique body kit and a unique color scheme.
Volkswagen introduced Arteon R-Line Edition. The automaker announced the appointment orders for the new product, adding that it is planned to release just 1 million copies of the model, the value of each of which will be from 36 to 850 pounds.
Like other VW models, received a performance R-Line, Arteon boasts some cosmetic upgrades which set it apart from the standard version. The most notable color scheme: case Arteon made in grey Moonstone, complemented by contrasting black paint for the roof, mirrors and 20-inch alloy wheels. Back on the trunk lid there is a small black spoiler and a pair of chrome exhaust pipes.
Salon Arteon R Line Edition received Nappa leather and a winter set of options as standard, which includes heated seats for the rear passengers. The car will also boast a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.
The buyer is given a choice of one petrol and two diesel engines. The range of diesel engines starts with a 2.0-liter turbocharged unit with a capacity of 187 HP, and the top will be Buturlinovka version of the engine with output of 237 HP and torque of 500 Nm. The petrol version is the most powerful: the 2.0-liter is a version of the engine from the Golf R and gives out 268 HP. This car relies all-wheel drive. Each version goes well with automatic transmission with double clutch 7 steps.
Two of the most powerful versions of the R-Line is equipped with adaptive dampers, which regulate the reaction rate of the suspension depending on the selected driving mode. As in the full models by Volkswagen R, it is also possible to completely deactivate the ESC system.
