According to Matios, the military Prosecutor together with employees of the State Bureau of investigation and the Ministry of internal Affairs has discovered and documented a systematic extortion and obtaining six inspectors, commander PPC “Novotroitsk”, as well as Deputy commander of the Donetsk border guard and commander of the regional unit of border guard in Volnovakha.

The inspectors and their leadership has created artificial barriers for carriers.

Law enforcement has documented at least 70 cases of extortion in the amount of 600 thousand UAH, said Matios.

“20.05.2019 year after receiving another part of the improper benefits in the amount of 6 thousand UAH, of their distribution with the previously obtained (documented by court order on video) the amounts of improper benefits among the above officers, suspended their criminal activities,” – said the military Prosecutor.

He said that office space KPVV and the house of the defendants scheme were searched, during which seized about $17 thousand, proceeds of crime and draft records with distribution of funds between the participants of the criminal scheme.

“Detained 3 people. In addition, check the involvement of other officials from the leadership of the Donetsk border detachment in the Donetsk and Luhansk regional administration of the SBS of Ukraine on these illegal actions”, – concluded the Prosecutor.
