Fasting days (in the absence of contraindications) is one of the fastest ways to get in shape. To sit on a strict diet and to drastically limit their calorie experts do not recommend, but fasting will only benefit, says nutritionist Lyudmila Babich.
The specialist said that to make a day of discharge can be almost any vegetables and fruits and also cereals, but it is better to choose seasonal products, since they are the most rich in vitamins and minerals.
“The most popular is “unloading” kefir. It really was quite useful for cleaning the body and for stimulation of the gastrointestinal tract. But to carry out such unloading can only be within days, not weeks, as recommended by some “experts”. Weekly diet on the yogurt will only aggravate the situation and will slow down metabolism, you will really drop a few pounds, but as soon as the diet ends, they will return. In addition, prolonged fasting is bad for health and immunity after all, you deprive the body of a whole range of nutrients and vitamins. Therefore to maintain the figure in norm, I recommend once a week or two to make a “cheese day”, – said the doctor.
Also, according to him, one of the best options for handling days, any time of the year is “Apple”. This fruit contains all major vitamins and minerals and fiber. They provide satiety and at the same time the ease and special compounds contribute to the rapid breakdown of fats and digestion (especially green apples).
“There are many options for the fasting day on apples. The easiest is to buy 1,5-2 kg of apples is every time there is a desire – can in cheese and baked. But personally, I like the following: for Breakfast, grate 2 apples, add 1 teaspoon of honey. Plus a Cup of green tea.
At second Breakfast, lunch, snack eaten on the couple. During the day drink mineral water without gas and a weak green tea, it is lemon. For dinner – one baked Apple, sprinkled with cinnamon,” – said the expert.
