The Committee IAU on matters of Internet advertising has performed the 1st stage of market research media online advertising in Ukraine in 2018. In the study, the objective was to analyze the amount of funds allocated by the advertisers for different segments of the media of Internet advertising focused on the Ukrainian Internet audience.

According to the results of the 1st phase of the study identified the shares of individual segments of the market media the Internet-advertising are as follows:

The share of Banner advertising, %37%
The proportion of In-stream video, % (advertising in the video player pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll, pause-roll, overlay-ads, picture-in-pause)42%
The share of In-page video (content-roll), %9%
The share of other non-standard solutions, % (pop-UPS pop-up and pop-under formats, catfish and screenglide, synchronized banners, frontline, full-screen ads, audio ads in a digital audio stream, and other such manifestations)7%
