This machine I was very impressed even at the Moscow motor show in 2018, and not because she’s some very cool (competition with “Aurus” from the next room, she would not have taken), but because she gives more than you would expect. Even the eponymous concept 2016 had many “chips” serial “Cross”. Suspension in General is reminiscent of his former self. Smoothness is slightly inferior to the French-Romanian ancestor, the small bumps the car takes riders quite decent, but on the bigger bumps if to instinctively slow down their speed, start to shake, asking to go “all the money”. In this mode for better, for mercy did not ask for any suspension, nor passengers.

But here emerges another problem that, if the dominant gene is passed from “parent” to “offspring”, despite manipulation with the steering. This, of course, about the “direct translation” of the road profile on the wheel. Those who previously went on “Logan” and his family, not in the least surprised and might even say is not as detailed the transfer of relief, but after many other machines, it may be a surprise.

The outside of the asphalt understand that, although there is no all-wheel drive, the prefix “Cross” car deserved. Despite adding several modes of operation of the electronics, the standard is also reconfigured, and in the onslaught on nature is felt. It’s all well and good, but still puzzling some moments. Why, for example, at a hefty dash display, even after updating it is only for one output parameter of the onboard computer, which shall also include total and daily counters of the run? In other words, derived, for example, mileage and fuel consumption together is impossible. Or why it is so strange organized management “music” on the steering wheel?

Physical volume buttons there are on the “multimedica”, and on the steering wheel, but switching tracks… not at all. And there and there. Kindly poke in the display distracted from the road. It is clear that “Logan” on the control panel of the buttons, but in this car, much modified for the better, why not make another small step? But the control on the steering wheel, not him, though, thank you for this.

Whether there was “XRAY Cross” is perfect? Of course not. Better than the original? Of course, Yes. Despite the fact that the difference between the same models Luxe Prestige “civil” and “all terrain” option is a solid 96 thousand rubles (817 913 900 and 900 rubles, respectively, in the prices on a minimum version of 609 900 754 900 rubles), it is taken not only for the kit. In the “Cross” is a much more interesting machine.
