In Berlin, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky met with large and medium-sized businesses in Germany. The event was attended by representatives of the companies, the combined portfolio which is 220 billion euros. “It’s more than two of Ukraine’s GDP, and is roughly 450 thousand jobs,” – said the President of the German-Ukrainian industrial chamber of Commerce Andreas Lire.

Business representatives stated that the hope for development of cooperation, but this requires improving the investment climate and adaptation of European standards in Ukraine.

“The investment climate is a priority for us. I understand that is afraid of foreign business: our law enforcement agencies that put pressure on businesses, our courts, are not defending him,” – said the President of Ukraine.

The head of state stressed the importance of addressing the pressure of law enforcement on employers, because without this it is impossible to develop the economy of Ukraine.

“As President, I will guarantee the independence of investment, will ensure that you will not be pushing. We strive to be a European country,” – said Vladimir Zelensky.

According to him, in plans – ensuring the independence of courts and law enforcement agencies, the creation of e-customs and anti-smuggling.

“We have a very large package of innovations. This is our project “the State of the smartphone”, which will reduce bureaucratic pressure on people.
