The Chairman of the Korosten district state administration in Zhytomyr region Sergey Dmitruk, who caught for bribery, was removed from office by decree of President Vladimir Zelensky
This is stated in the decree №56/2019-RP of may 31.
“According to part 3, article 154 of the Criminal procedural code of Ukraine to exclude the Dmitruk Sergei Vasilyevich from the post of Chairman of the Korosten district state administration in Zhytomyr region”, – stated in the order.
Part 3 of article 154 of the CCrP provides for the dismissal of persons appointed by the President of Ukraine, on the basis of the Prosecutor in the order established by the legislation.
As reported the press service of the national police, on April 23, police detained the Chairman and the head of the Department of Korosten RGA during receiving a bribe.
“Officials demanded $ 1,500 for the allocation of two plots of land. Funds were received in two stages, which was recorded by law enforcement agencies,” – said the police.
Dzmitruk and his subordinate were detained during the receipt and distribution of the second part of a bribe of $ 800.
The extortion of bribes officials opened criminal proceedings part 3 of article 368 of the criminal code.
