The Supervisory Board of the energy efficiency Fund approved the Program of modernization of apartment buildings.

“Our energy efficiency Fund already has a program for the modernization of apartment buildings, which on Friday approved the Fund’s Supervisory Board! Since September the condominiums will be able to apply for participation in the program to receive grants to upgrade their homes to reduce energy consumption. Very hard work in the past several years: legislation, negotiation and cooperation with the EU and the German government, obtaining financing, development of procedures, testing and finally a full-fledged launch,” wrote teeth.
Vice Prime Minister reminded that the Fund’s program provides for partial reimbursement of the costs of energy efficiency measures in the amount of 40% of acceptable activities and work for “Easy” and 50% for the package “Integrated”.
Zubko also said that the first 300 applications will also receive additional grant in the amount of 20%.
As reported, the energy efficiency Fund provides support to associations of owners of apartment buildings (condominiums) for implementation of energy efficient measures by providing grants and implementing complex technical solutions. The Foundation’s activity is financed from the state Budget of Ukraine for financial support of the EU and the German government.
Program Fund energy efficiency is being implemented in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation – IFC, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the United Nations development Programme (UNDP).
