The national teams of Germany and Sweden in the second round of the ice hockey world championship have managed to win.
Denmark – Germany 1:2 (0:0, 0:2, 1:0)
Germany after a convincing victory over Britain was stronger and Denmark. The Germans secured the win in the second period, scored two goals. In the last 20 minutes Denmark played one washer, but still lost.
Together with Finland, the Germans top of group A.
Italy – Sweden 0:8 (0:1, 0:1, 0:6)
Again lost heavily to Italy. After the Italians got 9 goals from Switzerland, they conceded 8 goals from Sweden. Most Swedes scored in the last 20 minutes – 6 goals.
This is the first victory for Sweden at the world championship, because in the first match, the Swedes sensationally lost to the Czech Republic.
