800 200 lindens and maples now will delight residents.
In November of this year, “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” held an environmental campaign in the city in which the company operates. Forces the plant workers and all citizens in Krivoy Rog were planted 1000 trees – 800 200 limes and maples.

Krivoy Rog is one of the greenest cities of Ukraine, there are more than 60 parks and squares. But after a strong storm in the summer of 2019, he suffered heavy losses and lost part of the gardens. “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” has helped the city make up for these losses.
Environmental campaign started in the city Park. Khmelnytsky on the territory of the beams Kaletina (Saksagansky district). The remaining trees the company donated to the city institutions of education and health.
355 young seedlings of lime trees were planted in 35 schools and kindergartens. Another 315 appeared in 18 medical institutions. Among them the city hospital, perinatal center, maternity home № 1, stomatologic polyclinics №№ 1, 7 and others.
Krivoy Rog is a rare combination – a major industrial center with lots of green areas, which is very important not only from the point of view of aesthetics, but also health. Because the trees absorb dust and carbon dioxide, produce oxygen and purify the air. Therefore, they require special careful treatment and care.
“ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih”, in addition to large investments in upgrading its production, supports the initiatives of people who seek to ensure that in the city there were as many green Islands.
